Abstract

|
The goals of orthodontic treatment are to achieve functional occlusion, to improve esthetics, and to establish stability, and the modern trend of orthodontic treatment is emphasizing esthetics. But occasionally we face to cases that can’t expect
to
be
improved esthetic by only orthodontic treatment. At this time, we freqently obtain favorable, and stable results of orthodontic treatment with orthognathic surgery.
We will introduce cases that facial esthetics is improved by orthodontic treatment with genioplasty.
